Phase 2 Production’s Advanced Apprenticeship program is designed to give real-world experience to emerging filmmakers ages 18-25. Through the advanced apprenticeship, you’ll learn the skills necessary to step onto professional crew with confidence.

PHASE 2 x NBA FOUNDATION

We’re a proud partner of the NBA Foundation, as part of Spy Hop’s Amplify Black Youth Voice initiative. From free video services for Black-owned and operated businesses and organizations, to paid apprenticeship opportunities for Black youth, and mentorship from Black professionals in the film industry, we aim to have a meaningful impact on economic equity in and around Salt Lake City.

We specialize in youth and story centered stories in the form of commercials, ads, documentaries, "about" videos, and even training videos.
We get people to care who don’t already care. Instead of telling stories in a textbook or flat way, we look for innovative approaches rooted in storytelling to create genuine engagement and lasting impact. Our secret sauce is our professionally trained, next-generation team. At Spy Hop, we mentor creative protégés who come to work with Phase 2 Productions. They’re 19–25 years old, highly skilled, and deeply connected to what feels fresh, culturally relevant, and compelling. They help us create work that doesn’t just inform, but makes audiences lean in.
Video costs depends on the scope of the production and number of deliverables needed.
Raw footage is archived for up to one year, and final deliverables are archived for up to five years.
